the best thing about the Brooklyn festival is its high selection quality. they have pretty diversified categories: docs, experimental, animation, fiction, features, shorts... The main complaint I would have is the lack of connectivity. They had this great party at dumbo on the first day but it was such a shame nobody had badges to know who was who. There was no way to make the difference between the filmmakers and the random people. That would be nice if the Q&A sessions were a little more elaborated by the moderators, because it was really hard for us filmmakers to know what the audience thought about the films, which was a little bit frustrating. If the staff work these things out, the festival could get pretty big on the east coast. yohann Around 8 years ago
