FFL's Festival Validation
FFL feels responsible for only allowing legitimate and relevant festivals to accept submissions through our platform. Thus we verify the festival's legitimacy and relevance before pushing the call for submissions live. Some festivals are not being allowed to accept submissions at all. For festivals allowed to accept submissions FFL separates among:
VALIDATED FESTIVALS
These festivals fully comply with FFL's festival validation policy. There is no doubt that they are established and/or legitimate events.
NOT VALIDATED FESTIVALS
These festivals don't fully comply with FFL's festival validation policy but appear to be legitimate events. We will leave you to decide whether you should submit to this event or not. Film Invasion L.A. is a film festival that brings the work of great filmmakers together and injects them into the heart of Los Angeles. Founded by industry veterans who have spent more… than two decades regularly visiting the great film festivals of the world, Film Invasion L.A. looks to discover new talent and give great filmmakers an opportunity to shine.

General rules
Categories:
Feature Length Films (narrative & documentary): run time over 45 minutes in length
Short film (narrative & documentary): run time of 45 minutes or less.
Screenplays: no page minimum or maximum, standard format and standard title page recommended.
Rules:
Film entries must be sent on DVD or via online digital submission of DVD quality or better.
Script entries must be uploaded as PDF or Final Draft files.
The director and/or producer of each project are welcome to be part of a Q&A session immediately following their screening. Cast are also welcome to participate.
Participants agree that their project and material related to their project may be used and/or published in the Film Invasion L.A. program, website and for promotional purposes related to Film Invasion L.A.
Copies of movies, scripts and promotional materials submitted to Film Invasion L.A. are not required to be returned to their owner.
If selected, all commercial/private property including all trademark/copyrighted materials shown or recorded on the project is the responsibility of the filmmaker. Film Invasion L.A. does not take responsibility for any infringement of copywritten materials.
The cost of delivery and pick-up of all materials is the responsibility of the filmmakers.
