Mission / description The Headwaters Film Fest is a university student run festival with a university/college student competition. All entries must be made while the filmmaker is a college or university student. All films MUST be 20 minutes or less in length and have been completed in the last 2 years. We welcome any type of film!

Category rules Film Length:
Keep it short; all submission must be under 20 minutes. (Shorter films (3-5 minutes) have a much better chance of being screened.

All Genres:
Documentary, animation, PSA, experimental, narrative, music videos - be creative!

All submissions must be from students and must have been completed in the last two years (after January 2015). If selected, you will need to provide proof that you are a student.

Filmmakers MUST use original music or have the license for all music used in their films. Films without original or licensed music will be disqualified from the competition.

Selected entries will also be broadcast on our campus TV station - KBSU-TV.
