Mission / description Hip Trip Travel Film Festival is an independent project based in Bucharest, Romania. 2016 will mark its third edition, which is to be held in September, at Cinema Eforie and Cinema Studio (indoor).
This project was initiated in 2014, by a small team of film lovers who are passionate about traveling and discovering the most renowned travel destinations and the lesser-known countries and places in the world as well. Our mission is to bring our audience closer to those places through the wonderful means of cinema.
We are interested in screening both documentary and fiction films (short, medium and full-feature length, with a focus on full-feature films). Even though we include films about a certain place and expedition films, we are also looking for works that tackle with a wide range of topics, not necessarily travels per se.

The event also includes workshops and Q&A sessions.

Here you can find the program of our last edition: http://hiptrip.ro/festival/program/

The previous two editions have been a real success, with many sold-out screenings.

Even though our festival shows a great potential, being a niche festival, it is mostly self-funded, so we operate on a low-scheme budget.
We would like to kindly ask you to support our festival by granting us, free of charge - only if possible - or on a low scheme budget, the film and the license for one public screening; as such, the film will benefit of extensive publicity, accompanying all the promotional materials. We would really love to bring your amazing work in front of the Romanian audicence.
