Mission / description The Lunenburg Doc Fest is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to showcasing documentary films that entertain, educate, inspire and enrich the lives of Lunenburg citizens and visitors. The festival includes a youth program and promotes local and international filmmakers as we share their works with audiences in a three-day celebration of factual storytelling. The Lunenburg Doc Fest endeavours to create a diverse program that covers a broad range of form, subject, styles and points of view while creating a cultural experience and place of connection between filmmakers and film enthusiasts in Lunenburg on Nova Scotia’s captivating South Shore.

We welcome you to submit a documentary for consideration. Please understand that we are just beginning our curating and fundraising process for the inaugural Lunenburg Doc Fest. We are particularly interested in documentaries that fall within one or more of the following categories: Atlantic, International, Environmental, Political, Music/Art and Youth/Family. An honorarium will be awarded for the selected films.

If you wish to submit your documentary film, please mail your submission and contact information to Box 1951, Lunenburg, NS B0J 2C0.
