Mission / description NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL intends to discover contemporary Eurasian cinema, to restore and to create a new cinematic culture in response to the rapid changes in media scene in the 21st century.NY Eurasian Film Festival present: the international competition section to find potential cinema artist and discover new films to be classic in the future.

NY Eurasian Film Festival is partnered with USA Independent Film Festival, pleased to bring the Eurasian Film Festival to the heart of the world, New York City - the greatest cultural crossroad of the 21st Century. Festival emphasis is on the stunning artistic achievements taking place at the crossroads of Eurasia, where the culture and art of post-Soviet ,Central Europe and Central Asia, and of Eastern Europe and the Balkan Republics, are informing and cross-fertilizing one another. It is a story that needs to be told, and the presence in New York of vibrant multi-cultural communities from all these countries makes New York the ideal venue for this important event.

Offers FREE Admission to the public and film lovers. NEW YORK EURASIAN FILM FESTIVAL was founded in 2010 by New York-Independent filmmakers; Hakki Subentekin & Yuliya Tikhonova where it devoted to promoting greater cultural interaction between the United States and Eurasian countries.

Highlights a selection of the Festival's programs that strongly reflect, revive, newly interpret or celebrate important cultural heritage.

The project must made in school OR should be a graduation film of the director.
Specials Workshops, Panels
To be eligible for consideration, all films must meet the following requirements:

*Short Films must be no more than 40 minutes in length including credits.. Feature films must be no less than 41 minutes in length including credits. If your film is not meeting these criterias, still welcome to submit it.

*All non-English language films must have legible English language subtitles.

*Films accepted into the festival must arrive with shipping and customs duties or taxes pre-paid, two weeks prior to the Festival opening.

*All entries must be postmarked no later than the deadline dates & clear with a paid entry fee following the deadline.

*All films must have been completed after January 2013. . Only completed projects will be accepted. Filmmaker or distributor must have obtained all clearances for exhibition and must certify that the work is original and no disputes regarding ownership exist on the film.
*DVD preview Screeners will not be returned.

* If the film is not selected officially for the year that you submitted, the filmmaker will be granted a waiver to submit the same film or another film as FREE for the next edition.
