FFL's Festival Validation
FFL feels responsible for only allowing legitimate and relevant festivals to accept submissions through our platform. Thus we verify the festival's legitimacy and relevance before pushing the call for submissions live. Some festivals are not being allowed to accept submissions at all. For festivals allowed to accept submissions FFL separates among:
VALIDATED FESTIVALS
These festivals fully comply with FFL's festival validation policy. There is no doubt that they are established and/or legitimate events.
NOT VALIDATED FESTIVALS
These festivals don't fully comply with FFL's festival validation policy but appear to be legitimate events. We will leave you to decide whether you should submit to this event or not. We also welcome any feedback about these events. You can report your experience at verification@filmfestivallife.com

Short Waves Festival is a network of film events scattered around the urban space of Poznań. Its core consists of competition screenings – a carefully put together selection of outstanding short films divided into three categories: International Competition, Polish Competition and Dances with Camera.
The Festival program is diverse and includes not only narratives, documentaries and animations, but video arts, music video and experimental forms as well. full text

DANCES WITH CAMERAInternational competition for short films, whose common language is dance, movement and broadly defined physical expression. The competition is open to dance films, regardless of styles and genres. To participate in the selection are also welcome documentary and experimental forms, combining dance with different film genres, visual arts and media.INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONThe main competition at Short Waves Festival for the best productions from all over the world, up to 45 min. The main goal of the competition is to create a diverse programme with a fresh perspective on contemporary cinema by using original film language.POLISH COMPETITIONCompetition for the best polish productions, up to 45 min. The winners will receive prize money. The main goal of the Competition is to create a diverse programme with a fresh perspective on contemporary cinema and original film language.
