Mission / description Formerly known as the SoCal Creative & Innovative Film Festival; The SoCal Clips Indie Film Fest is an International Short Film Festival that showcases the Creativity and Innovation inspired by the limitations of an ultra-low budget. The annual SoCal CIFF has quickly become a premier spotlight for independent filmmakers to showcase original short films within a $10,000 budget limitation. If Selected to screen at the SoCal CIFF you become a life long member of our growing community. Our Festival creates lasting connections through cinema. We believe cinema and great storytelling can change the world and make us all grow as a whole. Our Films inspire conversations, entertain, and make you think.

Voted one of the "Best emerging Film Festivals in Los Angeles"- (The Film Fest Spot. 2015)

Awards will be given for "Best of" in each genre as well as the sub-catagories of Cinematography, Acting, Original Soundtrack, and Director.
Our Festival is held in a state of the Art screening facility on the backlot of a working studio lot where they shoot the series CASTLE at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA. There will be many events and opportunities during the Festival to network with fellow filmmakers and established Industry professionals. Our Jury of judges consists of oscar, Emmy award winners, and network executives. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this dynamic festival!!!
