Matt Levett is a filmmaker and actor. In 2015 he was the recipient of the prestigious Heath Ledger Scholarship, presented in LA by Australians In Film (AIF).

Since graduating from the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts he has featured in many screen productions. Most recently he appeared in Matchbox's AACTA wining miniseries The Devil’s Playground and in the Ch 7 series A Place to Call Home. Matt also played the lead role in the feature film Drown, appeared in the highly anticipated miniseries Wolf Creek and the new Ch 7 series The Secret Daughter, due out later this year.

As a director, his short film Unwanted Friend was a selected for Tropfest 2012 - the worlds largest short film festival. His latest films KID and THE DEATH OF GEORGE MONTGOMERY were both produced by the film collective ScreenInkMedia. Kid was screened at the Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival this year.

Matt is currently an associate producer of ScreenInkMedias feature film 'Reaching Distance' starring Matt Day (Rake, Murials Wedding) , Morgan Griffin (Unbroken, Spin Out), Wade Briggs (NBCs Still Star Crossed, Please Like Me), Tara Morice (Strictly Ballroom) , Meyne Wyatt (Strangerland, Redfern Now), and Eddie Barroo (Wolf Creek, Spin Out). The film is being produced by Kayne Taylor and is currently in Post Production.
