Miro Mastropasqua is a Czech-Italian filmmaker living in Berlin, Germany.
He develops, produces and directs since 2004 film projects on different multimedia platforms turning visions into reality. He starts as director’s assistant and afterwards as production manager. In 2004 he receives his BA in literature science in Rome and continues with cinema studies at FAMU in Prague. In 2006 he begins a very prolific collaboration as editor in chief with the media group XENON, part of national german broadcasting RBB. In 2009 he starts to work for MTV Networks as Video Producer. In the same year he produces the Music Video Candygirl with italian artist Onze. In 2010 he collaborates to the artistic project William Blake Session with the german actress Maria Hengge, supported by austrian and portuguese filmfunds.
As miroimages Films he directs and produces fade up with german photographer Tobias Kruse. Shortly thereafter a new artistic collaboration with Laura Gianetti, with Grimm Museum in Berlin, everything makes sense in the reverse. In 2013 Miro Mastropasqua produces and directs the film HAZOR, with Martin Moeller and Arne Fuhrmann in collaboration with Videomaniacs Filmproduktion. HAZOR already won 3 prizes as best film, best experimental narrative and best cinematography. All his works have been shown in different film festivals all over the world and distributed in Germany, USA, Canada, France, Italy, Turkey, Israel.
