Andrew Shanks is an award-winning filmmaker and director with an extensive CV that includes short films, music videos, TVCs, corporate work and web series.

He is a founding member and co-director of the hit action comedy YouTube channel Fury Fingers, which continues to gain fans and views worldwide. Andrew travelled to Washington D.C. in January 2015 at the invitation of MAGFest to present various works by Fury Fingers at the ‘Games On Film’ Film Festival. Andrew directed the short film Doomsdays for the MRC’s Raw Nerve initiative. Doomsdays went on to win Best Comedy at the 2015 SASA awards and was screened on ABC2 in August 2015.

Andrew is also an educator spending the last 5 years working as a lecturer, course coordinator, tutor and tech support in the Film and TV Department at the University of South Australia, Magill Campus.
