Born in Turkey, Ince’s interest in filmmaking came at an early age. Inspired by the films she watched in her town’s lone theater, she began making short films in her early teens. Ince moved to the US to pursue her education and her career as a filmmaker. She studied film Production at California State University Northridge. Her screenplay “Amal” won the 2017 ARRI Grant and a Caucus Foundation Student Production Grant, also granted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. It also got selected by the Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Competition and Nashville Screenplay Competition in 2018. Ince is also interested in new technologies such as VR. Her focus so far has been on shedding light on social issues as well as writing original screenplays. full text less text
