Born in 1984, in Sintra, Portugal. Professional graphic designer, completed a master's degree in Sociology at ISCTE-IUL with the thesis "Globalization and Cultural Diversity in Cinematographic Activity", with several academic excellence prizes throughout this training. Over time, the relationship with Cinema narrowed: first through film critic and creating the webzine Cinemaville.net; then learning filmmaking at the Kino-Doc Documentary Course and later founding the Offside Lisboa Film Festival, which had its first edition in 2018. "24 Memories per Second", focusing on the portuguese film archive (ANIM), was his first film, with an international premiere at MoMA Doc Fortnight 2019, in New York. Has already worked as cinematographer and assistant director on the documentary feature "XYZ" and directed "Marcos", his most recent film currently in post-production. full text less text
